The online community is sharing satellite images of the “monster” hurricane Matthew sweeping across the nation of Haiti.

Notably, after color adjustments, the hurricane appears to resemble a skull with eyes and teeth, which has frightened many viewers.
Despite this, some individuals expressed skepticism regarding the authenticity of the image. In response to the inquiries from netizens, Mr. Ostro took to Twitter to assert that the image is 100% real and has not undergone any image editing techniques.

On October 5, Hurricane Matthew shifted towards the Bahamas and the eastern coast of Florida after ravaging Haiti and Cuba, resulting in heavy rain and flooding that forced hundreds of thousands to evacuate and claimed 17 lives. According to meteorological agencies, Matthew is the strongest hurricane to hit the Caribbean in nearly a decade.
The Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Haiti, Mourad Wahba, stated that Hurricane Matthew has caused “the worst humanitarian consequences” in Haiti since the devastating earthquake struck the nation six years ago.
