The Avian Influenza Prevention Machine (H5N1), designed and manufactured by engineer Le Quoc Hung, Director of OBM Environmental Technology Company, is the first device of its kind to be designed, fabricated, and produced in Vietnam.
This compact machine measures only 440 mm in length, 180 mm in height, and weighs 2.2 kg. Operating on the principle of treating environments suspected of containing harmful viruses and bacteria, the device emits a quantity of ozone (500 mg/hour) to purify the air and water in the vicinity of the user.
According to engineer Hung, this machine ensures safety for poultry and waterfowl farmers or anyone who frequently interacts with them. The device is very easy to use; simply carry it along and press the power button, and it can operate 24 hours a day. The machine runs on electricity.
This model was completed by engineer Le Quoc Hung in March 2006 and is not yet mass-produced, as it is currently made to order for buyers.
