The Urban Railway Management Authority of Ho Chi Minh City (MAUR) reported that the progress of the Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien) is nearing completion as the two underground stations, the City Theater Station and Ba Son Station, have almost finished their structural and architectural work.
Ba Son Station, along with the City Theater Station and Ben Thanh Central Station, is one of the three underground stations on Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien).
Ba Son Station is designed with a dominant green color and wave-like designs on the first floor, helping passengers visualize the freshness of the Saigon River.
According to MAUR, Ba Son Station has five entrances and exits: Entrance 1 is located on the sidewalk next to the VP Bank Tower Saigon, Entrance 2 is adjacent to the sidewalk by Ba Son Company, Entrance 3 is near the Saigon Riverbank, while Entrances 4 and 5 connect to the office and commercial service building project of the Saigon – Ba Son Complex.
Currently, while the structural work is 100% complete, the architectural features of Ba Son Station are nearly 99% finished. The overall progress of the Metro Line No. 1 project is currently at 93.01%.
