Adjacent to the stone wall is a system of intact water pipes, covered in dust and rust from the passage of time.

As part of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023, the interior of Hàng Đậu Water Tower will be renovated and exhibited for public visits from November 17 to December 31.
The project design team aims to transform Hàng Đậu Water Tower into an artistic space, awakening the heritage and harmonizing with the new urban flow.
“The sound installation will recreate the natural sounds of water. The lighting installation will expand the visual experience of beautiful coverings, using materials recycled from urban waste, emphasizing the impact of urbanization on the natural environment,” said a representative from the architectural and artistic team.
The artistic space at Hàng Đậu Water Tower will open to visitors for the first time, allowing them to admire the ancient architecture inside the water tower along with various art pieces.
