The video of a “majestic” lion exiting a public restroom has sparked a flurry of comments online.
The Wildlife Conservation Organization of India recently shared a short clip on Twitter showing a powerful lion leaving a public restroom. The clip is believed to have been filmed at a wildlife sanctuary in the state of Gujarat, India.
Along with the clip, the organization warned people that: “Public restrooms are not always safe… They can be used by other ‘characters’.”
Lion shocks by exiting… a restroom.
In the clip, the lion is seen emerging from the restroom, surveying its surroundings before slowly returning to the forest. The clip garnered tens of thousands of views on Twitter within hours of being shared and hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.
Many netizens commented that they would now think twice before using restrooms in the wild, while some humorously noted that the lion seemed very conscious of its surroundings. Others mentioned wanting to find the trainer of this lion to train their young son.
