John Scott, CEO of ATO, stated that this HD device will be sold for approximately $199 – $250 later this year. These devices are compatible with MPEG 4, Divx, HD.264, and many other video formats. The product has a battery life of 5 hours.
Earlier this year, the company also released a video accessory named iSee 360 for various iPod models, including the iPod Nano, which has been well-received by many users.
Scott mentioned that most customers use their devices to watch videos similar to those on YouTube and do not necessarily need to purchase clips sold on Apple’s website. “This is also a way to bypass digital rights management (DRM) software,” Scott asserted.
