ISG 1000 Product |
The ISG 1000, deployed on the Enterprise Infranet infrastructure, along with IDP and the ISG 2000, provides businesses with tools to deploy and manage security threats effectively. This device offers robust access control, secured communications, and security at both the network and application levels while reducing the total cost of ownership for deploying firewall, VPN, and intrusion prevention services.
The ISG 1000 features fully integrated IDP software on the ScreenOS operating system. It utilizes up to two security modules, each with its own memory and processor, delivering IDP and Firewall/VPN throughput of up to 1 Gbps. This device empowers medium to large enterprises with high-performance access control and protection against increasing threats such as spyware, worms, Trojans, and other malicious software.
Additionally, this device employs Firewall/IPSec VPN features to control user access and site-to-site communications, while leveraging IDP security modules to enhance application layer protection.
The complete integration with the Firewall/IPSec VPN operating system allows for the deployment of virtualized IDP attack protections across virtual systems and secure areas to thwart intrusion attacks or those generated throughout the network.
The role-based management feature within the device enables security teams to delegate management to appropriate individuals, allowing one team to manage a single IDP component while others can oversee Firewall/VPN, VPN, and additional security credentials.
