Strange Fish Washes Ashore at Hon Tre Beach |
A strange fish measuring 9.4 meters long, with a girth of nearly 4 meters and weighing over 4 tons, washed ashore at Hon Tre Beach, located in Hamlet 3, Hon Tre Commune, Kien Hai District, Kien Giang Province on the afternoon of May 23.
Some local fishermen attempted to pull the fish back to sea, but due to its injuries and significant blood loss, the fish unfortunately died. Local fishermen believe it could be a sperm whale, although specialized authorities have yet to confirm its species.
