Typically, when you need to find information on the Internet, you have to type a keyword (related to that information) into the search bar of your web browser.
To enter keywords faster, you can also copy the keyword from another program and paste it into the search bar. While this is quite convenient, would you like to find information even quicker? This might seem impossible, but with Lazy Web Search, it is entirely feasible.
With this program, you don’t need to retype any keywords into the search bar. As long as the keyword is currently visible in another program, such as Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, or even Notepad, you can search for information about that keyword on the Internet immediately.
The method is very simple: highlight the keyword and press the shortcut key Ctrl+F12, and you’re done. Your default browser will automatically open, listing websites related to that keyword.
The program is available for free at http://www.scosoft.com/LazyWebSearch20.exe, with a size of 349KB, compatible with all Windows versions. After installation, it will create a folder in the Programs menu and also include a runnable file, but you don’t need to run this file. The program’s settings are configured automatically; you just need to perform the search as described above.
