Although it lasted only about 20 minutes, the tornado was powerful enough to lift vehicles off the ground and send rooftops flying into the air.
The tornado struck on April 29 in the Wichita area of Kansas, USA, causing damage to 300-400 homes along a 20-kilometer stretch.

Over the past weekend, more than 10 tornadoes occurred from Kansas to Illinois. By May 1, the power company had restored electricity to nearly all of the 15,000 affected customers.
Currently, around 1,000 residents in Wichita are still experiencing power outages.
