The light aircraft accident that occurred on the afternoon of August 17 has resulted in the deaths of passengers on the plane and individuals traveling on the road.
On the afternoon of August 17, an aircraft accident took place on the Guthrie Highway in Malaysia. According to local media reports, the horrific incident occurred at approximately 2:40 PM local time.

At the time of the incident, a small aircraft unexpectedly encountered difficulties, lost control on the highway, and broke into many pieces. The collision resulted in the deaths of 8 individuals on board (6 passengers and 2 crew members) and at least 2 motorists on the highway.

After the incident, thick smoke billowed from the crash site, creating a smoke wall, with the roadway charred and aircraft debris scattered across the area.
Images from the crash site taken by local residents and shared on social media indicate that authorities have cordoned off the affected area and are conducting rescue operations. Witnesses reported finding charred bodies at the scene of the accident.

Local police chief Selangor Hussein Omar Khan stated that the crashed aircraft was a Beechcraft Model 390. According to the flight schedule, the aircraft took off from Langkawi International Airport at 2:08 PM and was en route to Subang Airport. Notably, the accident occurred just 2 minutes before the aircraft was scheduled to land.

“No emergency calls were made by the aircraft, which had been cleared for landing. We have a flight manifest, but I cannot disclose any details at this time,” Hussein stated, adding that the victims listed on the manifest were all in their 40s and 50s.
