Vietnamese Scientists Successfully Develop Eupolin Ointment for Burn Treatment

On June 28, the Le Huu Trac Institute of Burns announced the results of research and the completion of the production process for Eupolin ointment, which is used to treat burns.
The primary ingredient for this ointment comes from the Lao grass.
Lao grass, scientifically known as Eupatorium odoratum Linn., belongs to the Asteraceae family and is commonly found in the mountainous regions of Vietnam.

Research conducted on burn patients has shown that Eupolin is highly effective in inhibiting bacteria, stimulating epithelial tissue healing, and reducing swelling and inflammation.
