When children have chickenpox, it is advisable to prepare mung bean water (100 grams of mung beans cooked with half a liter of water) for them to drink instead of regular water until they recover. You can add a little rock sugar or brown sugar, or cook a thin mung bean porridge. Other types of beans such as black, red, and white beans are also suitable.
