Vietnam IT Week (IT Week 14) marks the blossoming of new communication services and solutions, once again demonstrating the strong convergence between IT and media. Notably, a relatively new name in the Vietnamese IT landscape has attracted attention with its innovative VoIP phone products, namely MyA Technology.
MyA Technology, founded by a group of Vietnamese in the United States, is currently penetrating the Vietnamese market with its EZtalk voice solutions and devices (see image). In the context of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology making significant inroads into the Vietnamese market, MyA Technology skillfully combines the best aspects of existing technologies to create a user-friendly and cost-effective voice service.
For individual and family users, MyA Technology provides IP phone lines or EZtalk devices with a single port, allowing users to connect to an ADSL or dial-up Internet access to make calls using low-cost Internet phone cards from VNPT, FPT, Viettel, and others. Currently, these cards allow users to call from a computer (PC) to domestic and international phones, but MyA Technology’s solution enables users to make direct calls from their phones simply and efficiently.
For business customers, the EZtalk solution allows the establishment of a private communication network that integrates both voice and data. This private network can be built with connection points anywhere in the world, allowing for internal communication without incurring long-distance phone charges. Additionally, users at one network endpoint (for example, a company office in Hanoi) can connect to any phone number in the area of another network endpoint (such as a company branch in the United States) while only paying for local call rates at the destination (the U.S.).
According to Mr. Dương Thái Sơn, Deputy Director of Việt Thái Dương Company, the main distributor of MyA Technology in Vietnam, the EZtalk solutions are pioneering in the Vietnamese market by providing a unified, efficient, and easy-to-use voice service, leveraging the low costs of VoIP and the convenience of internal phone networks.
