Have you ever wondered what would happen if we could travel to the past and the future? How would our world change if we could uncover the nature of time?
These questions might sound like the plot of a science fiction novel, but a group of scientists in Russia has conducted a series of astonishing experiments regarding psychic abilities using a device called the Kozyrev mirror (time mirror) – which can reflect the thought energy of the person sitting in front of it while simultaneously creating significant changes in the density of temporal matter, allowing the person to experience enhanced states of consciousness and other special states, including non-linear time – similar to deep meditative states.
In this test, the human brain actually receives information that normal sensory organs cannot perceive. However, one-third of the participants discovered that there was a being observing humans as they traveled through time and space.
Nikolai Aleksandrovich Kozyrev.
In 1946, Soviet physicist Nikolai Aleksandrovich Kozyrev stumbled upon a shocking phenomenon while researching torsion field theory in his laboratory. He noted that when detecting the torsion field created by the rotational movement of a distant star, a similar torsion field was observed at the future location of that star.
This discovery inspired Kozyrev to contemplate the nature of light and time. Consequently, he proposed a bold hypothesis: there is not much difference in essence between light and time. Light is a form of energy that we can perceive, and while time is invisible, it is also a form of energy.
Kozyrev believed that different wavelengths in the spectrum, such as ultraviolet and infrared, are not visible to the naked eye, and that time energy operates similarly to light, with the entire timeline functioning like a river that never runs dry. This river pushes us from the present into the future. Therefore, Kozyrev suggested that the past, present, and future actually exist simultaneously, although under normal circumstances, we can only perceive the present.

Kozyrev further pointed out that the concepts of the past and future are merely subjective definitions by humans; from an objective standpoint, they do not exist, and the only true existence is the present. Whether past or future, they all belong to the same river; it’s just our position in the timeline that differs.
After decades of consideration and countless efforts, Kozyrev finally succeeded in using a special concave lens with strange properties that can alter and even distort light. Accordingly, he also achieved time distortion on a microscopic level.
This groundbreaking discovery led Kozyrev to create a unique machine – the Kozyrev mirror, also known as the time mirror. The device consists of a massive concave aluminum mirror that reflects electromagnetic energy. According to Kozyrev, when people are inside this machine, they seem to exist at multiple points in the continuous space-time simultaneously, allowing them the opportunity to perceive their past and future. However, at a crucial moment when the device was nearly complete, Kozyrev mysteriously passed away on February 27, 1983.

Although a large amount of Soviet-era classified documents have been declassified today, the cause of Kozyrev’s death remains a mystery. In 1990, scientists Vlail Kaznacheev and Alexander Trofimov officially took over the Kozyrev mirror project and transported the device to an experimental site named “Dikson”.
The choice of this location was based on Kozyrev’s theory of time energy, which states that the absorption and release of time energy is related to the process of matter transformation. The permafrost layer of Dikson is believed to store a large amount of ancient information, which is released in the form of time energy when the permafrost melts, making it crucial for the experiment.
This experiment later became very famous in Russia, inspiring numerous films, books, and even documentaries on Russian state television. Kaznacheev and Trofimov also wrote a book “The Cosmic Consciousness of Humanity”, detailing their processes and experimental diaries.

On the first day of the experiment, many strange events began to occur. As the participants entered the Kozyrev mirror, they not only felt an inexplicable fear but also observed bizarre glowing objects appearing in the sky outside the laboratory. Almost all participants saw a large number of flickering symbols during the experiment.
To clarify the mystery of these symbols, the research team contacted several linguists from the Siberian Branch of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. Astonishingly, most of these symbols were recognizable. Most of them originated from ancient civilizations around the world, with the Sumerian civilization being the most prominent. This discovery led Kaznacheev and Trofimov to speculate that the participants may have inadvertently received stored time energy from ancient civilizations.
After a series of unpleasant sensations such as nausea and dizziness subsided, one participant felt calmer than ever, and then the surrounding environment began to distort. He found himself in a sunny park, watching a group of children chasing each other and smiling. The movement of one of the children stirred his heart, a familiar feeling buried deep in his memory. He stared at a boy and gradually realized that the boy was himself at the age of five.
In this experiment, the experiences of the participants were not isolated. Statistics showed that 32% of participants saw their past in the mirror, while the remaining 68% witnessed more detailed historical events and even scenarios of the future. These experiences convinced them that they had truly experienced time travel and even established contact with life forms in other dimensions of the universe. Even more astonishing, nearly one-third of the participants reported seeing a humanoid being emitting light observing them throughout the experiment. Although the faces of these beings were very vague, it was certain that they were not life forms from Earth.

This discovery is reminiscent of the “zoo hypothesis” – the idea that extraterrestrial civilizations may have discovered humanity long ago but chose not to intervene in our development. In this cosmic zoo, Earth is just one of many subjects being observed and studied. While many people believe in this hypothesis, there is very little solid evidence to support it.
As for the Kozyrev mirror experiment, it did not take long to end hastily, and the results were classified as national secrets, after which there was no news. The modern mainstream scientific community does not actually recognize Kozyrev’s time travel hypothesis and this experiment.
