An enigmatic fireball illuminated the sky over China before shattering and disappearing, leaving many witnesses in astonishment.
According to The Sun, a recent video captured by residents of Beijing, China, shows an unidentified object falling from the night sky, which then broke into smaller pieces as it approached the ground and vanished. The object burned so brightly that it quickly turned the night sky into day upon its appearance.
What is even more remarkable is that a similar fireball was also seen in the sky that night in Gansu Province, nearly 1,000 miles from Beijing. This meteoric object seemed to have traveled all the way from Gansu to the capital before shattering and disappearing in the night sky.
This event has attracted widespread attention on social media, sparking various opinions and speculations. One user stated, “That’s not a meteor, it’s space junk.”
Another shared, “I was having a barbecue outdoors that day and was lucky to see it. However, I didn’t have time to record it.” Meanwhile, someone questioned, “Could it be a meteor falling?”

Currently, the origin of the fireball remains a mystery. Chinese authorities have yet to comment on this incident.
Just a few days prior, a similar fireball was reported falling in California, USA. It caused concern among many in Southern California, who were unsure of what they were witnessing, fueling conspiracy theories about UFOs.
