On Minh Hai Beach in Japan, a gigantic depiction of an ancient coin has been discovered. The design resembles ancient Chinese currency, complete with clear inscriptions that can be recognized, leaving many puzzled about its meaning. Anyone who sees it is taken aback.
The coin drawing appears to be a raised pattern formed from sand. Visitors on the beach initially mistake it for mere sand ridges. However, from the summit of the nearby mountain, one can clearly see that these sand ridges represent a massive ancient coin map. At this location, the circular “graphic” resembles an ancient Chinese coin. In the center of this sandy circle is a square hole, with the four corners inscribed with the words “Yong Kuan Tong Bao.” Just how large is this coin depiction? Researchers have conducted field measurements and made an interesting discovery. It turns out that the shape perceived is not a perfect circle but rather an oval, with a perimeter of 354 meters, an east-west length of 122 meters, and a north-south width of 90 meters. Standing on the eastern peak, one sees it as round.
So, how was this giant coin graphic formed? According to legend, in the tenth year of Yong Kuan, specifically in 1633, local residents created it overnight in anticipation of an inspection by Long Hoan Phan Chu, and it has remained intact to this day. Another legend suggests that atop Mount Cam Dan, there was once a shrine dedicated to a deity known as “Bat Phan Shen Gong.” In the third year of “Da Bao,” around 703, one night, the great deity descended from the Wu Ta shrine on a radiant boat. This is said to be the origin of the coin graphic. Subsequently, a shrine was built to honor the great deity.
