Preview of the SuSE Linux 10 Operating System Released by Novell
On June 27, Novell announced the preview of the SuSE Linux 10 operating system on its website.
The SuSE Linux 10 preview is available for free in two versions: one for servers and another for PCs. The final version of SuSE Linux 10 is expected to be released by the end of this summer.
SuSE Linux 10 will replace the “professional” version of OS Linux 10, which includes GNOME 2.12, KDE 3.4 Linux, the Firefox web browser, a preview of the OpenOffice.org 2.0 suite, along with 1,000 other Linux applications and utilities.
The SuSE Linux Enterprise version will feature capabilities aimed at large enterprises that need to maintain applications on an open-source platform.
