A groundbreaking new technology developed by researchers at the University of Alberta in Canada has made an astonishing breakthrough: it allows broken adult teeth to regrow.
According to the Globe and Mail, the researchers placed a small ultrasound device, about the size of a pea, in the patient’s mouth. This device functions by stimulating the gums with gentle massages, promoting the growth of the tooth roots.
The stimulation lasts for 20 minutes each day over a continuous period of four weeks, yielding promising results. In the long term, this technique could also be employed to stimulate bones in the body, potentially aiding in height increase. The researchers hope to launch this product within the next two years.
