Does the human soul exist? Is the soul truly present in this world? Humanity has never ceased to explore the topic of the soul for thousands of years.
In most religions, the soul is invariably linked to the concept of reincarnation. At the same time, it is believed that the human body is merely a vessel for the soul; when the physical body dies, the soul will continue to exist in the universe in another form.

However, with the continuous advancement of science and technology, perceptions about the human soul have undergone certain changes.
In 2020, the esteemed physicist Roger Penrose was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his research contributions to black holes. However, his Nobel Prize has sparked considerable controversy within the scientific community.
The source of this controversy relates to his nearly 20 years of research on the soul. During his work in physics, he introduced a highly implausible topic that can be understood as the quantum soul concept.
He believes that humans do not completely vanish after death, but rather hide their souls in some corner of the universe in a different form. This implies that we will not be entirely obliterated in the universe due to death.

Most scientists have shown little interest in his proposed hypothesis; indeed, a significant number believe he has introduced the concept of a quantum soul, which falls under metaphysical theory, rather than true science.
If the Nobel Prize in Physics is awarded to Roger Penrose, it could very well disrupt the existing rigor of scientific inquiry. It certainly has implications for our current understanding of scientific exploration.
During the final discussions of the Nobel Committee, they disregarded all objections and awarded the prize to Roger Penrose.
This decision was based not only on his research into the wandering soul but, more importantly, on his contributions to the theory of black holes.
