The meteorological agency warns that from November 24 to the morning of November 25, heavy rain will continue in the North Central region and may expand to the lowland and coastal areas of Northern Vietnam, with common rainfall amounts of 30-80mm, and some areas exceeding 100mm.
There is a risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous regions and flooding in low-lying areas. Thunderstorms may bring the possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, and strong winds.
Additionally, from November 23 to 29, the Southern Region will experience high tide levels, with the maximum water level at Vung Tau station potentially reaching 4.25-4.35m, posing a high risk of flooding in low-lying areas, riverside regions, and areas outside dikes, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.
