The French astrologer Nostradamus has made predictions about war, economic crisis, and global warming for the year 2023.
Nearly 500 years ago, astrologer Michel de Nostradame, commonly known as Nostradamus, published the infamous book *Les Prophéties*, which contains 942 prophecies that seemingly predict the future.
The book made terrifying predictions about World War II, Hitler’s rise to power, and the French Revolution, many of which have come true.
Nostradamus is believed to have accurately predicted the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and even the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. He is also thought to have correctly foretold the timing of the Covid-19 pandemic. According to various reports, over 70% of his prophecies have materialized to date.

The Great War: One of the most notable predictions for 2023 is “a great war.” According to Nostradamus, “Seven months after the great war, people will die for doing evil. Rouen, Evreux will not fall before the King.”
This is believed to refer to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict potentially escalating into World War III.
Global Warming: In 2023, Nostradamus predicts that temperatures will rise even higher and sea levels will unexpectedly swell.
Civil Unrest: With the current cost of living crisis and increasing global warming, civil unrest may reach a new level of danger in 2023.
Nostradamus predicts, “Sooner or later, you will see major changes occur, horrors, and terrible vengeance.”
This prediction may imply that an uprising against the wealthy could occur as the economy worsens.
Meteor Fire: Nostradamus also foresaw “Celestial fire upon the Royal building.” This is believed to imply that a new world order will arise from the ashes of civilization. Followers of Nostradamus believe this could refer to “the end of an era” or the beginning of a new world order.
Landing on Mars: Nostradamus cryptically mentioned “light falling upon Mars” in his prophetic book. This could be interpreted as the planet appearing to move backward in the sky due to retrograde motion. Alternatively, it may refer to humanity’s efforts to inhabit this planet.
