The Ford Motor Company (USA) has unveiled its F-250 Super Duty pickup truck, equipped with a high-tech “office” designed to meet the needs of business professionals who frequently travel by vehicle. This “office” includes a wireless networked computer, a printer, and a global positioning system.
The in-vehicle computer features a touchscreen interface, replacing the traditional mouse and keyboard, allowing users to see clearly even in direct sunlight. Additionally, a digital camera and a credit card scanner can be easily added for capturing images and processing payments. Notably, users can easily remove the “office” setup from the vehicle to take it into their workplace when needed. (AP)
