At the Oracle technology festival held in Hanoi on April 13, Oracle announced the widespread distribution of the Oracle® SOA Suite – a middleware product suite based on standards designed to facilitate the easy construction, application, and management of Service-Oriented Architectures (Service-Oriented Architectures – SOA).
Adopting Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is an effective approach to meet the increasingly complex IT environments and applications. This fundamentally enables the development of modular business services that can be easily integrated, coordinated, secured, monitored, and reused, creating a flexible and easily applicable IT infrastructure that meets business needs.
By utilizing this product suite, organizations can easily connect, extend, and develop their existing IT systems to rapidly deliver new business services. Built on a “hot-plug” architecture, this suite allows customers to deploy SOA within their current IT environment without incurring high costs or embarking on a replacement project.
Customers can also create, manage, and coordinate services across complex applications and business processes. The result is a tighter alignment between IT and business operations, enabling quicker responses to customer demands, competition, or fluctuating market conditions.
Additionally, Oracle offers a diverse range of connectors to access legacy systems such as CICS, VSAM, and IMS, as well as packaged applications including SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle e-Business Suite, and Siebel through web services. For more information, please visit: www.oracle.com/soa.
