Ho Chi Minh City Department of Trade Launches the “Outstanding E-commerce Solutions of 2006” Competition at http://www.trade.hochiminhcity.gov.vn from December 5, 2005, to December 20, 2005.
The competition aims to encourage businesses to boldly implement applications and harness the practical benefits of e-commerce to compete and develop in the environment of international economic integration.
This competition is open to individuals, groups of individuals, organizations, and e-commerce solution providers operating in Vietnam with e-commerce solutions/websites designed by themselves.
Participating products can be static or dynamic websites (there is no limit on the number of websites that can enter the competition) submitted to the organizing committee in the form of a Microsoft Word (.doc) file. This file should include the content, significance, techniques, solutions used, visual illustrations of the work/design, along with a brief summary of the website’s content and concept, and the website’s name, limited to 100 words, as well as an image file (.jpg) of the website interface.
Entries will be evaluated based on criteria such as ease of use, attractive and beautiful interface, clear and rich content, fast website access speed, reasonable structure, ease of management, processing and updating information, convenience for users, advanced programming techniques, and unique ideas.
20 selected products will advance to the final round and will be exhibited for readers to participate in voting. There will be three first prizes for three categories of websites: company introduction, services, and buying/selling.
The organizing committee hopes that through this competition, businesses will have the opportunity to explore diverse e-commerce solutions (websites) across various fields designed by solution providers. This will help them determine an appropriate e-commerce model for their unit and find suitable solution providers.
