Fifteen Times Larger Than a Full Moon: The Appearance of a Cosmic Entity Disrupts Cosmological Laws.
If your eyes were a bit more sensitive, you might be shocked to see a massive structure resembling a ring of light with an infinite void in the center, like a gigantic hole piercing straight into the universe, located near the constellation of Virgo.
According to Live Science, “cosmic hole” is a ring-like structure formed by numerous galaxies and galaxy clusters, with a true diameter of up to 1.3 billion light-years and a circumference of 4 billion light-years.

It is located 9 billion light-years away from Earth, but due to its enormous size, it appears 15 times larger than a full moon from our perspective. However, the light traveling such a long distance has faded significantly, making it invisible to the naked eye.
Named the Great Circle, this structure containing galaxies and galaxy clusters was discovered through the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
Additionally, the Great Circle has a companion known as the Great Arc, a similar entity but shaped like an arc, measuring 3.3 billion light-years, discovered back in 2021.
Together, these two structures are among the largest ever found in the universe and challenge the most fundamental laws of cosmology, according to a research team led by Dr. Alexia Lopez from the University of Central Lancashire (UK).
The authors explain that according to cosmological principles, if you were to shrink the universe, everything would begin to resemble one another to some extent.
This is believed to be due to identical physical laws throughout the universe, which affect all matter equally.
Therefore, a rigid limit was established: Objects within it cannot exceed approximately 1.2 billion light-years in size.
The cosmic holes known as the Great Circle and the Great Arc have both broken this limit. The reason for their existence remains a mystery.
“The Great Circle and Great Arc, whether individually or together, provide us with an effort to understand the universe and its evolution” – Dr. Lopez stated.
