You have probably heard of Photoshop, a professional image processing software, and perhaps it is due to its professional features that its size is also quite substantial, with the trial version alone weighing 330MB.
With PhotoFiltre, you can access many of the professional functions of an image editor, but in a much more compact size (only about 1.5MB).
PhotoFiltre comes equipped with a comprehensive set of tools consisting of numerous command buttons for image processing, conveniently located at the top and right side of the screen. To create a new image, navigate to the File menu and select New. To open an existing image, choose Open from the File menu.
Within the Image menu, you will find commands related to image manipulation such as flipping horizontally (Flip horizontal), flipping vertically (Flip vertical), rotating images (Rotate), skewing (Skew), and resizing images (Image Size)…
The Selection menu includes commands related to selecting areas of your image.
When processing images, you will frequently use the Adjust and Filter menus. The Adjust menu contains commands for fine-tuning images to achieve a harmonious look, such as: Brightness/Contrast (adjusting brightness and contrast), Hue/Saturation (color and color blending), Color balance (color balancing), Replace color (changing one color to another)… The Filter menu includes filters used to create effects and enhance the aesthetics of the image (similar to Photoshop filters).
PhotoFiltre 6.2.0 is a commercial software developed by Antonio Da Cruz. You can download the trial version from the website http://www.photofiltre.com or purchase it on software compilation CDs available on the market.
