While sleeping, a house dog was suddenly attacked by a leopard, which grabbed its neck and dragged it away in the night.
The incident took place in Huliyur Durga village near Kunigal, in the state of Karnataka, southern India.
In the footage, several dogs were sleeping at a brick kiln when a leopard suddenly appeared. It quickly pounced on a sleeping yellow dog. Although the dog woke up startled and tried to escape, it was caught by the leopard, which swiftly grabbed it by the neck and dragged it away.
Seeing one of their own being attacked, a few other dogs stood up and ran in different directions out of fear. The entire event was captured on surveillance cameras.
