Are you tired of the monotonous clicking sounds of your keyboard and mouse? The entertainment tool called “Sounding Keyboard and Mouse” will transform your keyboard and mouse into instruments that produce a variety of sounds such as: musical notes, bird songs, monkey calls, and buzzing insects every time you type or click.
In addition, “Sounding Keyboard and Mouse” (SKM) also supports an English text reading feature that reads aloud each word you type, as well as all the characters on the keyboard as you type them.
Simply click on the “Current Schemes” box to select the sound style for your keyboard and mouse. SKM has preset five default sound styles for you: Animal (animal sounds), Music (organ sounds), Music 2 (crystal-clear sounds like tapping on a glass), Default (mixed sounds), and Reading (pronounces the characters on the keyboard every time you type and reads the English words you just typed). To set up SKM, you only need to check or uncheck the boxes available on the interface such as Mouse sound, Keyboard Sound, Read Word, Read Sentence…
The most unique feature of SKM is that it allows you to create your own distinctive sounds. Click on “New Scheme” to bring up the “Scheme Editor.” Here, all the keys on the keyboard and every button on the mouse are listed for you to build your own melodies. Simply select a key -> Check the box “Use Wav file” -> Click the “Add Wav” button -> then locate your .Wav audio file to “Add” sound to the selected key. This function will enable your keyboard to produce a variety of sounds like barking dogs, meowing cats, roaring tigers, and crying humans, provided you have your own sound library ready.
If you do not have a sound library, SKM will provide you with a MIDI music library that includes 128 sound types covering all kinds of musical instrument sounds, as well as sounds of gunfire and helicopters… To use this function, check the “MIDI Music” box and sequentially select the key and the corresponding MIDI sound for that key.
Softboy is currently selling the “Sounding Keyboard and Mouse” for $29.95. Users can click here to download a trial version with a size of approximately 1.2 MB.
