The next generation of this Multimedia card, named moviNAND, combines the Multimedia Card version 4 (MMC) with 4GB NAND flash memory.
moviNAND boasts a transfer speed of up to 52 MB per second for various types of data including video, images, and music. This sets a new record for data transfer speeds in memory cards. With this next generation of MMC memory cards, third-party manufacturers will be encouraged to further develop more powerful multimedia entertainment products to meet the entertainment needs of users.
