Many visitors to the zoo in Huzhou (Zhejiang Province, China) were amazed to see a leopard named Bao Bao using its front paws to perform a massage and continuously affectionately nuzzle a Bengal tiger named Rou Rou.
The zoo staff reported that both Bao Bao and Rou Rou were born last year and were abandoned by their mothers. As a result, they were cared for together by the staff, grew up side by side, and developed a bond akin to that of brothers.
