In the clip, the sky above a busy road appears to be split in half, with the left side glowing in a fiery orange and the right side immersed in a dark gray gloom.
The sky is neatly split in half, vertically.
This phenomenon of the sky being split in half has actually amazed viewers several times before, such as the “half sunset” photo shared by photographer Uma Gopalakrishnan in North Carolina, USA.

According to Live Science, this is a special natural phenomenon where the shadow of a large cloud below the horizon at sunset obstructs sunlight from reaching other clouds.
This leads to one half of the sky missing the enchanting colors of sunlight during dawn or sunset, which usually range from shades of pink-orange to golden-orange.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the USA, the strange colors seen during dawn and dusk are due to the fact that when the sun is low on the horizon, sunlight has to travel further through Earth’s dense atmosphere.
At that time, the atmosphere acts like a prism that scatters the light, causing the light that reaches our eyes to lean more towards red. This is also why the low-hanging moon – the moon at sunset, especially in summer – often appears in hues from pink-orange to fiery orange.
Therefore, the part of the sky still illuminated by the last light of the day or the first light of the day displays beautiful pink-orange or golden-orange colors, while the side shaded by the cloud casts a grim gray-black hue.
