The Japan Sleep Research Institute has developed a pillow designed to help users achieve a good night’s sleep.
This innovative pillow analyzes the user’s sleep patterns and provides 40 different recommendations.
Made from urethane fabric, the pillow is equipped with sensors that measure the movements of the head and body, calculating the quality of your sleep on a scale from 30% to 95%. If you experience poor sleep over several days, the pillow will give you a gentle reminder, such as “Take it easy tonight. Try taking a longer bath.”
Additionally, the pillow can track your sleep patterns for up to two weeks. By doing so, users become more aware of their sleeping habits and can work on improving any “problematic” patterns. This product is set to launch in Japan, Asia, and North America in September.
