Many people expect their mobile phones to be equipped with a flashlight, but designing products that are both small and slim while incorporating all necessary features is no simple task. The Luxeon Portable PWT light source promises to change this.
The LXCL-PWT1 White PWT from Luxeon (Canada) can provide a white light output of 26 lumens (lm) while measuring just 2 x 1.6 x 0.7 mm, making it up to 75% smaller than current LED flashlights with similar brightness.
The LXCL-PWT1 can be turned on and off quickly and has a lifespan of at least 2,000 hours, which corresponds to the average usage time of a consumer’s mobile phone.
Luxeon’s new product is priced at $2.19, allowing consumers to make the decision to purchase the LXCL-PWT1 for their mobile devices without much hesitation.
