The Faculty of Resource and Environmental Management at the Forestry University has successfully developed software for wildfire risk alert and forecasting in the Central Highlands.
The software, led by Associate Professor Vuong Van Quynh, features automatic updates and storage, processing information gathered from multiple meteorological stations, predicting wildfire risks, and providing advisory solutions for wildfire prevention to localities.
The software will deliver daily information regarding wildfire risks in various local areas to radio and television stations, as well as provide online updates about weather developments and wildfire risks across the region.
