If there is suspicion of a fracture or dislocation, it is advisable to seek medical attention and get an X-ray to determine the diagnosis and timely intervention with modern medicine. However, if the issue is simply a sprain or lower back pain due to aging and immediate access to modern medical care is not possible, the following traditional remedy can be very useful:
Take clean Frangipani leaves, crush them, and mix with a little salt, then apply to the swollen area from the sprain. Use another Frangipani leaf, heat it until wilted, and place it over the crushed leaves, securing it with a bandage or clean cloth to keep the treatment in place. Repeat this process 1-3 times daily over a period of 1-2 days (depending on the severity of the condition) for relief.
For lower back pain due to aging, sciatica, spinal degeneration, injury, or lumbar syndrome, apply the same remedy as described above. In areas where it’s difficult to bandage the treatment, it’s advisable to use wide adhesive tape to secure it tightly.
If after applying the remedy there is still no improvement, or if the joint is swollen, deformed, or exhibits abnormal movement suggesting dislocation or fracture, immediate medical attention is required for X-ray examination and timely surgical intervention.
