“Students and the New Generation of the Internet” is the theme of an upcoming computer science seminar scheduled for the evening of December 1, 2005, at the National University of Hanoi Auditorium (144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay).
The seminar is organized by the University of Technology (part of the National University of Hanoi) and the International Programmer Center Hanoi – Aptech. The program will feature presentations from IT experts and information technology entrepreneurs from Vietnam.

The keynote presentations at the seminar will focus on the topic of the Internet in the new era—technology, trends, and applications. Dr. Nguyen Quang A will provide a comprehensive overview of the new generation of the Internet worldwide.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of VASC Software and Communications Company, and Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet Online Newspaper, will discuss the trends of Internet services in Vietnam with the students.
Two other notable presentations will be featured at the seminar: “E-commerce.com,” an example of the application of the new generation of the Internet (presented by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh, Business Director of Chodientu.com), and “The Technological Foundation of the New Generation Internet” (presented by Mr. Truong Xuan Nam, Training Director of Hanoi – Aptech).
In addition to the student discussions and Q&A sessions with the aforementioned speakers, representatives from the University of Technology and Hanoi – Aptech will present artistic programs, lottery draws, and prize giveaways. The “Students and the New Generation of the Internet” seminar is expected to attract about 1,500 IT students.
