Dubbed the Marble Palace, this villa was crafted by 70 skilled artisans who spent over 9 months hand-applying more than 700,000 gold leaves throughout the entire house.
According to The National News, a mansion resembling the Palace of Versailles is currently on the market for $204 million in Dubai, amidst growing demand for luxury real estate in the United Arab Emirates.
Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty noted that this is one of the most expensive properties for sale in the Emirates Hills, often referred to as the “Beverly Hills” of the UAE, which offers an exceptional standard of living with a collection of magnificent luxury villas.

Notably, Emirates Hills is known as a gated residential community surrounding the lush greens of the Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai and nearby golf practice areas. The upscale hotel overlooks the golf course and offers a variety of dining options on-site, ranging from gourmet pubs with terraces to fine dining restaurants. Elegant villas with pools line tree-lined streets, featuring playgrounds for children, schools, and sports facilities.
Specifically, this mansion is referred to by real estate agents as the Marble Palace.

This property is built on a vast land area of 6,500 m2, with a construction area of about 5,574 m2 that includes a coral reef aquarium, two domes, and 160 marble columns.
The domes of the entire mansion rise over 14 meters from the ground floor and feature individual glass pieces intricately handcrafted by 17 French artisans, along with 20,000 structural glass pieces.
Luxhabitat Sotheby’s stated that the villa’s facade is clad in handcrafted marble imported from around the globe.
The interior of the house is entirely adorned with gold, featuring a luxurious pool at its center, and a garage that accommodates 16 cars. Additionally, there are 19 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, a basement, a dedicated substation, and various other amenities.

George Azar, the CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty in the UAE stated, “Every aspect of this project reflects an extraordinary commitment of time, effort, and dedication from the entire team involved.”
Notably, the labor of 70 skilled artisans who dedicated over 9 months to apply a total of 700,000 gold leaves throughout the house has significantly enhanced the luxury and sophistication of the living space,” he remarked.
Furthermore, Azar added that the architects employed stunning decorative patterns, column styles, and roofing that collectively create a perfect and unique beauty. Therefore, the neoclassical design of the mansion is highly aesthetic, fully meeting the functional needs of its owner.
“The grand design of the palace is the culmination of 12 years of research and analysis of palaces and royal residences, requiring us to make frequent trips to Europe to gather experience and reference unique house designs worldwide,” he explained.
The construction process of this project lasted nearly 12 years and was officially completed and put into use in 2018.
Knight Frank reported earlier this year that demand for luxury real estate continues to rise in the UAE, with Dubai ranked as the fourth most active market in the world for luxury residential properties.
