Cormorants are dubbed the “kings of fishing” due to their primary diet of fish and their remarkable fishing skills. When a cormorant spots a school of fish, it dives into the water and uses its skilled swimming abilities to approach, swiftly snatching a fish with its sharp beak and swallowing it whole in an instant. When hunting, cormorants can employ this technique of swallowing prey almost continuously.
