The renowned German robot manufacturing company Hammacher & Schlemmer has successfully created a voice-controlled robot that closely resembles the famous R2-D2 from the Star Wars films.

The most practical feature of the R2-D2 robot is its ability to guard the house like a dog. It will “patrol” around the home and will automatically sound an alarm if it detects an intruder.
R2-D2 stands approximately 38 cm tall and is priced affordably like a high-end toy, at just $120.
