Over 4,000 international guests from Royal Caribbean arrived at Phu My Port, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province on the luxury cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas on August 22.
Captain Wu Huimin of the Spectrum of the Seas expressed during the welcome event with provincial leaders and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism that throughout the 12-day journey, travelers explored top destinations in Asia, including the cities of Tokyo, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima in Japan, Hong Kong, Nha Trang, and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
The destinations in Vietnam received high praise from guests aboard for their beautiful scenery and rich cuisine, Mr. Wu Huimin added.
Listening to these remarks, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, expressed appreciation. “We are delighted that Royal Caribbean International has included Vietnam in the 2023 itinerary of the luxurious cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas, visiting Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Hue. We hope this will be a beautiful foundation for Vietnam to continue welcoming more international luxury cruise ships to other famous tourist destinations such as Halong, Cat Ba, Son Tra, Phan Thiet, and Phu Quoc…”
In addition, the leaders of Vietnam’s tourism sector hope that Royal Caribbean International will enhance its collaboration in promoting Vietnam as a premier destination in the company’s travel products.
