Coastal areas of Quảng Ninh – Nam Định should be cautious of high tides (in the afternoon of July 22-23) accompanied by storm surges and large waves, which could lead to flooding in low-lying areas, slowing down floodwater drainage in the region’s rivers.
Additionally, from the night of July 22 to July 24, the northern region and Thanh Hóa province may experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some areas reporting very heavy rainfall. The estimated total rainfall is as follows: Northeastern regions 100-200 mm, with some areas exceeding 300 mm; Northwestern regions and Thanh Hóa 50-100 mm, with some areas exceeding 200 mm.
