The Nautilus, measuring 37.5 meters and weighing 1,250 tons, can operate as both a luxury yacht on the surface and a submarine. This vessel will switch between the two modes while navigating the seas. U-Boat Worx first showcased the Nautilus design at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 held last year, and this is the first time the company has released interior images of the yacht, as reported by New Atlas on April 19.
The Nautilus is expected to accommodate 10 guests and 7 crew members, featuring a diesel-electric propulsion system that allows for a cruising speed of 17 km/h and a range of nearly 6,000 km when operating on the surface. While submerged, the yacht can travel at a speed of 6 km/h to a maximum depth of 150 meters for up to 12 continuous hours, with an operational range of approximately 185 km.

For the interior design of the Nautilus, U-Boat Worx collaborated with the German yacht design firm Officina Armare. The yacht will feature a luxurious master cabin with an en-suite bathroom. Additionally, there will be four guest cabins, each with beds positioned right by the windows, work desks, custom-designed carpets, wardrobes, and bathrooms.
In the common area, guests can interact and watch films on a large flat-screen TV with a surround sound system, or observe the underwater world through the windows. For better views of marine life, guests can head to the panoramic observation lounge on the mezzanine level. All underwater windows will remain submerged even when the yacht is operating on the surface. Other notable features include a bar, a spiral staircase connecting the levels, and a gym equipped with a treadmill, stationary bike, and weights.
