When a hen was attacked by a hawk, the rooster rushed in to rescue her, forcing the predator to flee. This intense scene took place on a farm in Kentucky, USA.
In the video, a hawk was perched on a fence at a farm, looking for its next meal. Despite the henhouse being securely fenced, the bird of prey managed to squeeze through a small gap and attack the hen.
Upon noticing the incident, a rooster charged in to confront the hawk and rescue his companion. After a few kicks and pecks, the rooster succeeded in driving the uninvited guest away.
The owner of the two chickens shared the video on YouTube along with the caption: “Today, my rooster fulfilled his duty by protecting the hen from a hawk that sneaked through a hole in the fence. Immediately after, the fence was repaired.”
