While filming, a man was unexpectedly gored by a bull and thrown to the ground, followed by a relentless attack with its horns.
The incident occurred during a local festival called “Touradas à corda” on the island of Terceira, Portugal.

In the clip, a young man is seen provoking the bull with a green cloth to incite its anger. As the bull charges, he immediately runs away. However, the man nearby, engrossed in filming on his iPad, fails to notice the bull charging toward him.
The bull gored the man filming, tossing him into the air before he hit the ground. Subsequently, it attacked the victim repeatedly with its horns to the chest and head. Fortunately, a bullfighter managed to distract the bull and save the man. After receiving first aid on-site, the victim was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
“Touradas à corda” is one of the famous festivals in Portugal. During this festival, locals tie one end of a rope around the neck of a bull while leaving the rope loose.
Eight people hold the other end of the rope while others attempt to provoke the animal, creating a bullfighting display for the audience to watch.
