Three treasures consisting of thousands of ancient coins and dozens of unique artifacts, with immense value.
According to Heritage Daily, three treasures were collected by German archaeologists in the form of fragments scattered near the surface in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
They believe these items were revealed after recent ground activities, including dredging to renovate ditches or plowing fields.

According to a report from the State Office for Cultural Heritage Preservation (LAKD) in Germany, the first treasure includes seven 3,000-year-old swords, which may have been used as burial goods or for sacrifices during the Bronze Age.
Although some artifacts from this era have been found in the region, it is unusual to find seven swords in the same location.
The discovery site is located in the Mecklenburg Lake district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
At another location in this district, the second treasure unexpectedly consisted of two reliquaries found almost entirely exposed.
Inside the boxes, besides the relics – including an ancient cross – were 1,700 coins, rings, pearl necklaces, crystals, and other decorative beads.
This is considered a significant discovery as it serves as rare evidence of Christian faith in a region predominantly influenced by other beliefs during that period.
Meanwhile, the third treasure emerged almost simultaneously near Rügen – also in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – comprising 6,000 silver coins from the 11th century.
The coins in this millennium-old treasure are mostly from West Germany, but also include a few coins from England, Denmark, Bohemia, and Hungary.
“This is the largest collection of Slavic coins ever found since the post-war period,” LAKD stated.
This treasure promises to indicate trade relationships that may have never been known in the 11th century, helping archaeologists rewrite a portion of history that is still quite unclear.
This is the first time archaeologists from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania have discovered multiple valuable treasures at once.
The aforementioned announcements are just the beginning, as analyzing the coins in the laboratory promises to pave the way for many other valuable studies in the future.
