A strange video capturing an unusual phenomenon quickly went viral on social media platforms.
According to the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), an unprecedented sight occurred in the skies over Japan at 6:55 AM on January 15. NHK reported that the video was initially uploaded by Daichi Fujii, an astronomer at the Hiratsuka City Museum in Kanagawa Prefecture, and subsequently, numerous similar videos were shared by other users.

The video captured a large “fireball” streaking across the sky and falling straight down at high speed. In three videos released by Daichi Fujii, the fireball glowed brightly with a blue light, while another video even recorded a loud noise that followed the light as it descended.
Daichi Fujii expressed his amazement at the brilliant brightness of the fireball, noting that it may have traveled from Kanagawa Prefecture to Nagano Prefecture, and he shared the data he observed.
