The world’s smallest television with a 15mm screen, designed in a classic style, is fully functional and requires only 1 hour to charge.
In a world where electronic devices seem to have increasingly larger screens, one company has chosen to go in the opposite direction by creating the smallest television in the world.
Introducing two new models in the TinyTV product line from TinyCircuits.
TinyCircuits, an electronics company, has unveiled two new prototypes in its TinyTV (tiny television) line. The first model features a 0.6-inch (15 mm) screen, while the other has a 1.0-inch (26 mm) screen. With a classic exterior design, these charming little TVs come equipped with two knobs for volume control and channel switching.
Despite its size being comparable to a postage stamp, the TinyTV Mini boasts full functionality and requires only 1 hour to charge. Both the TinyTV Mini and TinyTV 2 come with an 8GB microSD card, capable of storing and playing up to 40 hours of video. However, these tiny televisions cannot receive television broadcasts.
Users can download or stream videos through a USB-C port connected to a computer. However, videos need to be converted to a format compatible with TinyTV using free software provided by TinyCircuits. Additionally, this software allows users to add effects to the videos.

Alongside the buttons and knobs on the front of the TV, TinyCircuits has also produced a remote control that measures just 380mm. Although small, the remote is equipped with buttons to power the device on, adjust the volume, and change the video being played.
Ken Burns, the founder and president of TinyCircuits, stated that at the end of 2019, the company launched the TinyTV DIY Kit, allowing customers to build and customize their own TinyTV. The two models, TinyTV Mini and TinyTV 2, were developed based on this previous platform, promising a brighter screen, louder speaker volume, USB-C ports, and pre-assembled units.

Currently, both models of the tiny televisions are being sold for approximately $49 each, available in black and gray. Additionally, there is a transparent plastic version priced at $59 each. To obtain the accompanying remote control, customers can order it for an additional $10.
Ken Burns mentioned: “Our customers love the product and want to use TinyTV as gifts for their parents, partners, or friends. We hope to bring joy to everyone.”
