At the beginning of 2005, a team of Russian scientists traveled to Syria and Lebanon to participate in a special expedition investigating traces of giants. They visited numerous historical sites in an effort to explain the mysteries of human civilization. The results were astonishing.

Immediately after the expedition returned to Russia, a journalist from the newspaper Luận chứng & Sự kiện interviewed Professor Eric Myldasev, the scientific leader of the expedition, about the truth behind the footprints believed to be those of giants discovered in Syria.
Professor, what prompted you and your expedition team to travel to Syria and Lebanon?
It was the traces of giants that compelled us to embark on this journey.
Professor, is it possible that these are just natural patterns resembling human footprints?
Not at all! The footprints are completely distinct, and no member of the expedition doubted their authenticity. As scientists, we thoroughly examined the traces and concluded that carving them into the rock here, even with the most advanced tools, is inconceivable. However, what perplexes anatomical experts is that the giant’s foot is flat and smooth, resembling a paddle. The lengths of the toes are relatively equal (unlike normal humans, where the toes vary in length).
Can you reveal the dimensions of the giant’s footprints?
The length of the giant’s footprint is 90 cm and its width is 45 cm. The heel measures 20 cm, the big toe is 20 cm long, and the little toe is 15 cm.
If this is a natural footprint of a giant, why is it imprinted on the rock?
Through our research, we have concluded: The white stone is an unusual type in this area. In ancient times, the geology here was like a liquid cement that had not yet hardened, allowing the giant to leave a deep impression of up to 3 cm when stepping on it. We also cannot rule out that ancient giants had some sort of “technology” to soften the stone.
Are there any other footprints in the area?
In a nearby area, we discovered another giant’s footprint. We feel the giant must have had a stride of up to 11 meters.
Is it possible to estimate height and weight based on the footprints?
Professor of anatomy Ralic Talgatovic calculated based on the giant’s footprints that this giant must have weighed between 3.5 to 5 tons and stood between 6.5 to 10 meters tall. This is astonishing compared to our modern stature. Nevertheless, the Earth once hosted such magnificent creatures.
