Professor Brian Cox admits “we are not alone” in suggesting there could be up to 200 billion extraterrestrial civilizations in the universe.
Space expert Brian Cox believes there could be up to 200 billion extraterrestrial civilizations in the universe. He told the Sunday Mirror: “There must be other civilizations in the universe. I can’t imagine that we are the only ones. I am certain that in every galaxy, there are about 1 to 2 civilizations.”
Professor Brian Cox declares “we are not alone in the universe”
Research indicates that there could be between 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies alongside our Milky Way in the vast universe.
Professor Cox has warned that extraterrestrial visitors may not arrive on Earth in peace.
In a BBC documentary, he said: “We all hope that ET is real. But we certainly don’t want Darth Vader coming down here.”
Regarding the possibility of aliens using robots to visit Earth, he added: “Why send Battlestar Galactica when you can send something the size of an iPhone?”
Does each galaxy have at least 1 to 2 civilizations?
It is reported that Cox made these comments following a report on the Pentagon’s UFO bombshell. U.S. officials have been unable to explain recent UFO sightings but simultaneously have no evidence of alien spacecraft, records indicate.
Pentagon documents will detail 120 encounters of U.S. military pilots investigated by the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, the Office of Naval Intelligence, and the FBI.
These include testimony from U.S. Navy fighter pilot Alex Dietrich, who shared her own UFO encounter.
The incident occurred on November 14, 2004, when the commanding lieutenant, who is now teaching at the U.S. Naval Academy, was aboard the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier off the coast of California.
The ship’s radar detected flying objects dropping from the sky at an altitude of 80,000 feet in less than a second.
Dietrich and Commander David Fravor piloted their F/A-18 jet and saw what they described as a 40-foot-long white Tic Tac.
